Dolly Parton, Human Hair Wig Wearer
Everyone knows Dolly Parton, of course. She’s the undisputed Queen of Country Music and stands out a mile away in her bright blonde human hair wig, voluptuous figure, revealing dresses, and bright red lipstick. It’s hard to believe that this lass from Tennessee, born in 1946, is now 64 years old, as she looks as young and glam as ever – thanks to a couple of face lifts. She’s said that “If I see something sagging, bagging, and dragging, I’m going to nip it, tuck it, and suck it.”
But Dolly’s not just all about makeup and wig accessories and looking sexy. She’s a true performer, one of the most successful country music in American and worldwide. She’s had 25 number-one singles, and a record 41 top-10 country albums. She’s toured extensively, most recently in the Backwards Barbie Tour in 2008, in which she gave 13 performances in the U.S. and 17 performances across Europe. She got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in 1984, and has received a host of awards over the years, including 7 Grammy Awards, 3 American Music Awards, and 10 Country Music Association Awards.
