But not every style and length is going to look good on everyone and you want to be as sure as you can before you order. It’s easy to determine what will look beautiful on you based on just the shape of your face.

Oval Shape: This is the most ideal face shape, because almost every style looks great on it. With hair pulled back it shows off the face. For long hair a center part is great, but short and curly works well too.

Round Shape: And off center part with offset the roundness of the face. Long styles should be worn close to the face because they’ll make the face look longer.

Heart Shape: A medium to mid-neck length is best. Fullness at the bottom with curls or waves will make your chin seem wider, effectively balancing out the face.

Oblong Shape: Mid-neck is the best length for oblong shaped faces. You’ll also want to try a European hair wig with volume to balance your long face with width. Straight bangs will have the same effect.

Square Face: Hair length is best just past the chin, or all the way to the shoulder but not in between. Wispy or fringed bangs are the best, but stay away from straight bangs.

Whether you have just one human hair wig or a dozen, keeping them stored properly for future use is important. You don’t want to have anything happen to them that might mess with the quality. There are a few different wig accessories you’ll want to look into.

Typically, when you aren’t wearing your wig you’ll want to keep it on a stand. These stands make for great displays and they are shaped like a human head. They will keep your wig’s shape, which is incredibly important if you want it to last. They usually come in different heights, depending on how long your wig is. As long as your wigs are at home, they are best kept on a display stand.

If you are traveling, there are special travel boxes you can get that are clean and soft, perfect for storing a human hair wig. You’ll want to make sure they are surrounded by acid free paper, to keep it clean and protected.

Whether it’s on a stand or in a box, you want to make sure the room in which you keep your wig is neither dusty or too dry. Humidity should be avoided as well, as it’ll cause the hair to frizz and break, giving it split ends.

Kayla Martell, Miss Delaware, was diagnosed at a young age with alopecia areata; otherwise known as unexplainable hair loss. She was going bald at age of 10 and had to wear a human hair wig. Unfortunately there’s no treatment or cure and no reason found why certain people are affected.

But despite being bald from the time she was a little girl, Kaylee has a dream to compete in beauty pageants. After 5 tries, she finally won the title of Miss Delware and will now be going to Las Vegas this year to compete for the title of Miss America. She is going to have four different European hair wigs for the competition on top of her various costumes and gowns.

When she’s not competing Kayla doesn’t wear a wig, as she has embraced her baldness as who she is.

Kayla has proven that no matter the odds against you, anything can be done if you put your mind and heart into it.

I definitely fall into the second category, but I don’t just wear wigs when I’m going out to a party, I wear them any day of the week to complement my mood or my outfit. For me, nothing’s worse than looking the same, day in, day out!

I’m a little bit like Lady Gaga, who believes that fashion is art and enjoys experimenting with identity and persona, evidenced through her love of wigs and bizarre outfits. For me, every day is an opportunity to dress up and enjoy fashion. If I feel like wearing a 1920s style dress to work, I will, and pair it with a dark hair wig bob to really top off the outfit.

I don’t believe in putting stress on my hair by using expensive hair dyes or harsh perm and straightening treatments, just to achieve a different look. Why do all that, when you can just slip on wig accessories? There’s such a wide variety of wig accessories out there – short hair, wavy hair, colorful hair – and it’s so much fun to try them out and experiment.

She’s the undisputed Queen of Country Music and stands out a mile away in her bright blonde human hair wig, voluptuous figure, revealing dresses, and bright red lipstick. It’s hard to believe that this lass from Tennessee, born in 1946, is now 64 years old, as she looks as young and glam as ever – thanks to a couple of face lifts. She’s said that “If I see something sagging, bagging, and dragging, I’m going to nip it, tuck it, and suck it.”

But Dolly’s not just all about makeup and wig accessories and looking sexy. She’s a true performer, one of the most successful country music in American and worldwide. She’s had 25 number-one singles, and a record 41 top-10 country albums. She’s toured extensively, most recently in the Backwards Barbie Tour in 2008, in which she gave 13 performances in the U.S. and 17 performances across Europe. She got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in 1984, and has received a host of awards over the years, including 7 Grammy Awards, 3 American Music Awards, and 10 Country Music Association Awards.

Every day, she meticulously powdered and arranged her European hair wigs so that they looked big and beautiful.

She was born Maria Antonia Josepha Johanna on 2 November 1755. At the tender age of fourteen, she married Louis-Auguste, Dauphin of France, and became Dauphine de France. And in 1774, her husband became king, and she became Queen of France and of Navarre. Marie-Thérèse Charlotte was the first of the royal couple’s four children.

Though they were originally charmed by her youth, beauty and elegance, her fair skin, and bright blue eyes, the French people eventually came to dislike Marie Antoinette, and viewed her as fickle, promiscuous, and sympathetic to France’s enemies.

At the height of the French Revolution, Marie Antoinette’s precious wig accessories and dresses were removed, and the royal family was imprisoned. Louis XVI was executed, and nine months later, Marie Antoinette was tried and convicted of treason. On 16 October 1793, her precious hair was cut off; bald and wearing only a simple white dress, she was driven through the streets of Paris in an open cart, and was publicly executed by the guillotine.

His grandfather died of lung cancer and his mother decided donating her son’s hair would be a great way to honor his memory. His luscious locks will be donated to make human hair wigs for young cancer patients. However, her son attends a Catholic school that does not allow boys to have long hair. Originally, the school agreed he could have it long until he reached kindergarten in September 2011. However, the school recently changed their policy stating pre-K boys couldn’t have long hair either.

Mrs. Szablewski was ready to comply and have her son’s hair cut before October 1. A terrible storm ruined those plans and young Jack was not allowed into class the next day. You can imagine the outrage this caused. Mr. and Mrs. Szablewski disagree about Jack staying at the school.

This is a terrible situation but I’m glad Jack’s parents continued with their original plan to donate his hair. Donating your hair to make a human hair wig is a great cause and the younger your children start doing it, the better. To learn more about donating your hair, check out our blog post from a few weeks ago.

We’ve talked about some celebrities who regularly rock human hair wigs, but now it’s your turn to take advantage of this new fashion statement. You don’t have to be a celebrity to wear a human hair wig. Wigs can make the ultimate accessory to your outfit, and not just on Halloween. But you need to think outside of the box. You shouldn’t purchase one the same color as your own hair or one that is very similar to your style. The whole idea is to have a fresh new look.

Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj have all been adorning their heads with bright blue, red, and pink wigs lately. A funky colored wig will certainly turn a few heads and can really make your outfit pop –match accordingly of course. If you’re feeling brave, search for uniquely styled wigs similar to the ones Lady Gaga enjoys wearing. If you’re looking for something more reserved, try a human hair wig that is the complete opposite of your hair. Blondes with long hair can see what it’s like to be a brunette with short hair for awhile. A new wig for each outfit will keep your wardrobe interesting and your friends wondering what you will wear next.

Before you grab the boring straight brunette wig, ask “What would Gaga wear?” Then go for the purple one that is three feet high.

Donating your hair is such a wonderful cause that helps cancer patients and other people who have lost their hair. However, before you decide to cut off all those luscious locks, there are a few steps you need to take.

-First, choose a specific foundation you would like to donate to. There are hundreds of different organizations. Locks of Love is one of the most popular.

-Next, you must follow all the requirements of your specific organization. You hair cannot be damaged, dyed, bleached, or chemically treated in any way. Vegetable dyes and semi-permanent dyes are usually okay. Most require your hair to be 8-12 inches long. If you have wavy or curly hair, you must straighten it first and then measure it.

-When you are ready to cut your hair, find out if your organization must cut your hair for you or if you are allowed to go to a salon. If you go to a salon, tell them you are donating your hair. Your hair should be freshly washed, dried completely, and contain no hair styling products. Your hair must be in a ponytail when it is cut and cannot touch the floor.

Donating your hair to make a human hair wig is a great cause so start letting your hair grow today!

Halloween is rapidly approaching and many are probably scrambling to finish their costume. A good Halloween costume is all in the details. Not having the right accessories can make or break the outfit. One of the most vital elements to the costume is the wig. This year, why not try a human hair wig instead to get that authentic look. Most costume wigs are cheap looking and never look quite right. I already know from experience that my Lady Gaga two-tone blond wig looks absurd on me. It partially has to do with the fact that I’m one of those brunettes who will never be able to pull off being a blond, but the biggest flaw is that it just looks fake. It’s sad to say that I don’t feel very Gaga-esque in my cheap wig.

A human hair wig is not only realistic, but it’s comfortable and long lasting. They feel natural. Halloween is about getting into character, a chance to be someone else for a change. Don’t feel like you’re Sally dressed up in a ridiculous inappropriate Gaga costume. This October 31, you can truly be Lady Gaga and feel glamorous (and most likely cold in your skimpy outfit) in your authentic wig. So whether you’re going as Snooki or Alice in Wonderland, add that dash of authenticity to your costume with a human hair wig. You might even be lucky enough to win that costume contest this year.
